มูลนิธิประชาธิปก-รำไพพรรณี ร่วมกับ มูลนิธิมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในพระราชูปถัมภ์สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ประกาศจัดงานคอนเสิร์ตเฉลิมพระเกียรติสมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณี พระบรมราชินี ในรัชกาลที่ 7 ภายใต้ชื่อ “Light of Dawn: The Resilient Queen Rambhai Barni of Siam ดั่งแสงอรุณรุ่ง…รำไพพรรณีขัตติยนารีศรีสยาม” เนื่องในโอกาสที่องค์การยูเนสโก (UNESCO) ประกาศยกย่องเชิดชูพระเกียรติคุณ ในวาระครบ 100 ปี แห่งพระราชกรณียกิจด้านการศึกษา การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนด้านสังคม และความเสมอภาคทางเพศ (พ.ศ. 2469–2569)

การจัดงานครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อถ่ายทอดพระราชประวัติ พระราชกรณียกิจอันทรงคุณค่า และพระราชจริยาวัตรอันงดงาม เพื่อเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีแก่ปวงชน ผ่านรูปแบบ An Immersive Orchestra Experience ที่ผสมผสาน Orchestra × Theatre เข้ากับบทเพลงคลาสสิก คลังภาพยนตร์ และภาพประวัติศาสตร์หาชมยากจากพิพิธภัณฑ์พระบาทสมเด็จพระปกเกล้าและหอภาพยนตร์ (องค์การมหาชน) เพื่อถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวทางประวัติศาสตร์ผ่านประสบการณ์ทางดนตรีและการแสดง

ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ ดร. หม่อมราชวงศ์ชิษณุสรร สวัสดิวัตน์ ประธานกรรมการมูลนิธิประชาธิปก-รำไพพรรณี กล่าวว่า “สมเด็จพระนางเจ้ารำไพพรรณี พระบรมราชินี ในรัชกาลที่ 7 ทรงเป็นขัตติยนารีผู้ทรงมีพระมหากรุณาธิคุณอันล้นพ้นต่อประเทศชาติ พระราชกรณียกิจของพระองค์ ทั้งในมิติด้านการส่งเสริมการศึกษา การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนด้านสังคม และความเสมอภาคทางเพศ ได้สร้างคุณประโยชน์อันยาวนานจนเป็นที่ประจักษ์ในระดับสากล

การที่องค์การ UNESCO ได้ประกาศยกย่องเชิดชูพระเกียรติคุณในวาระครบ 100 ปีแห่งพระราชกรณียกิจ จึงนับเป็นวาระอันสำคัญยิ่ง มูลนิธิประชาธิปก-รำไพพรรณีมีความตั้งใจที่จะถ่ายทอดพระราชประวัติ พระราชกรณียกิจ และพระราชจริยาวัตรอันงดงาม ให้คนรุ่นใหม่และสาธารณชนได้รับรู้ และสัมผัสผ่านมิติทางศิลปวัฒนธรรมและเสียงดนตรี โดยเชื่อมั่นว่าการนำเสนอผ่านรูปแบบ An Immersive Orchestra Experience ซึ่งผสมผสานบทเพลง การแสดง และภาพประวัติศาสตร์หาชมยาก จะช่วยให้เรื่องราวอันทรงคุณค่าเหล่านี้เข้าถึงผู้ชมในปัจจุบัน และส่งต่อแรงบันดาลใจจากพระราชกรณียกิจของพระองค์สู่คนรุ่นต่อไป”

ด้าน ศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ ปิยะมิตร ศรีธรา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และประธานกรรมการ มูลนิธิมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในพระราชูปถัมภ์สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี กล่าวว่า “มูลนิธิมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลรู้สึกเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ร่วมมือกับมูลนิธิประชาธิปก-รำไพพรรณี ในการสร้างสรรค์งานคอนเสิร์ตเฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ ครั้งสำคัญนี้ ทั้งยังได้รับความสนับสนุนจากสถาบันพระปกเกล้า หอภาพยนตร์(องค์การมหาชน) และมูลนิธิโรงพยาบาลเวชศาสตร์เขตร้อนในการดำเนินโครงการให้สมบูรณ์ นอกจากผู้เข้าร่วมงานจะได้สัมผัสสุนทรียภาพทางดนตรีที่ถ่ายทอดโดยวง Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra จากวิทยาลัยดุริยางคศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลแล้ว  งานในครั้งนี้ยังเปี่ยมด้วยคุณค่าแห่งการ ‘ให้’ โดยรายได้หลังหักค่าใช้จ่ายจากการจำหน่ายบัตรจะนำไปต่อยอดให้เกิดประโยชน์แก่สังคม ทั้งการจัดหาอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์ที่จำเป็นมอบให้แก่ โรงพยาบาลพระปกเกล้า จันทบุรี การมอบทุนการศึกษาแก่ วิทยาลัยพยาบาลพระปกเกล้า จันทบุรี ตลอดจนการสนับสนุนโครงการ ‘โรงงานยามีชีวิต’ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ภายใต้กองทุนมูลนิธิมหิดลเพื่อความยั่งยืน จึงขอเชิญชวนประชาชนร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการเฉลิมพระเกียรติ และร่วมสร้างประโยชน์ให้แก่สังคมไปด้วยกัน”

สำหรับรูปแบบการแสดงบนเวที จะร้อยเรียงเรื่องราวออกเป็น 5 องก์ ถ่ายทอดผ่านการบรรเลงของ Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) แห่งมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ควบคุมวงโดย พลตรี ดร.ประทีป สุพรรณโรจน์ วาทยกรและผู้เรียบเรียงเสียงประสานหลักในงานสำคัญของชาติ ร่วมด้วยการกำกับการแสดงโดย สุวรรณดี จักราวรวุธ จาก Dreambox Theater ศิลปินศิลปาธร สาขาศิลปะการแสดง ผู้ชมจะได้สัมผัสทั้งบทเพลงไทยเดิมและดนตรีตะวันตกที่นำมาเรียบเรียงใหม่ พร้อมเรื่องราวและเกร็ดประวัติศาสตร์ที่ร้อยเรียงไปกับภาพประวัติศาสตร์ ตลอดจนนิทรรศการภาพหาชมยากบริเวณหน้างานอีกด้วย

งานคอนเสิร์ตเฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ “Light of Dawn: The Resilient Queen Rambhai Barni of Siam ดั่งแสงอรุณรุ่ง…รำไพพรรณีขัตติยนารีศรีสยาม” กำหนดจัดขึ้น ณ หอประชุมมหิดลสิทธาคาร มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล วันที่ 31 ตุลาคม 2569 เวลา 15.00 น. ความยาวในการแสดง 90 นาที รวมพักครึ่ง

Commemorative Concert Brings Her Majesty’s Biography and Legacy

to the Stage through Orchestra × Theatre

Marking UNESCO’s Recognition of Her Majesty’s Contributions

The Prajadhipok-Rambhai Barni Foundation, in collaboration with the Mahidol University Foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, announces a commemorative concert in honour of Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of King Rama VII, entitled “Light of Dawn: The Resilient Queen Rambhai Barni of Siam”. The concert is being held on the occasion of UNESCO’s resolution to honour Her Late Majesty on the 100^th anniversary of her contributions to education, social sustainable development and gender equality (1926-2026).

The event aims to present Her Majesty’s biography, her remarkable contributions to the nation’s international standing, and exemplary personal conduct. These serve as inspirations to the public. “An Immersive Orchestra Experience”, combining Orchestra × Theatre with classical music, archival film footage and rare historical images from the King Prajadhipok Museum and the Film Archive (Public Organization), bringing history to life through an immersive experience of music and performance.

Emeritus Professor Dr. M.R. Jisnuson Svasti, Chairman of the Prajadhipok-Rambhai Barni Foundation, said: “Her Majesty Queen Rambhai Barni, Queen Consort of King Rama VII, devoted herself to the nation with immeasurable benevolence. Her Majesty’s contributions to education, social sustainable development and gender equality have created a lasting legacy that has gained international recognition.

UNESCO’s recognition of Her Majesty on the centenary of these contributions therefore represents an occasion of great significance. The Prajadhipok-Rambhai Barni Foundation is committed to sharing Her Majesty’s biography, contributions and exemplary conduct with younger generations and the wider public through arts, culture and music. We believe that presenting these invaluable stories through ‘An Immersive Orchestra Experience’, combining music, theatrical performance and rare historical imagery, will enable today’s audiences to connect with Her Majesty’s legacy and carry forward the inspiration of her contributions to future generations.”

Professor Piyamitr Sritara, President of Mahidol University and Chairman of the Mahidol University Foundation under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, said: “The Mahidol University Foundation is deeply honoured to collaborate with the Prajadhipok-Rambhai Barni Foundation in creating this significant commemorative concert as an international event. The project has also received support from the King Prajadhipok’s Institute, the Film Archive (Public Organization) and the Foundation for the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, all of which have contributed to bringing this project to fruition.

In addition to experiencing the musical artistry of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra from the College of Music, Mahidol University, this event also embodies the value of ‘giving’. Net proceeds from ticket sales expenses, will be used to benefit society through the provision of essential medical equipment for Prapokklao Hospital, Chanthaburi; scholarships for students at Phrapokklao Nursing College, Chanthaburi; and support for Mahidol University’s ‘Living Drug Factory’ project under the Mahidol University Endowment Fund for Sustainability. We therefore invite members of the public to join us in honouring Her Majesty and in contributing to initiatives that will benefit society.”

The stage performance will unfold across five acts, with music performed by the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) of Mahidol University and conducted by Major General Dr. Prateep Suphanrojn, conductor and principal arranger for major national events. The theatrical production will be directed by Suwandee Jakravoravudh of Dreambox Theater, a Silpathorn Artist in Performing Arts. Audiences will experience new arrangements of traditional Thai and Western music, accompanied by stories and historical insights woven together with historical imagery. A special exhibition featuring rare historical photographs will also be presented at the venue.

The commemorative concert “Light of Dawn: The Resilient Queen Rambhai Barni of Siam” will take place at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, on 31 October 2026 at 3.00 p.m. The performance will run for 90 minutes, including an interval.

Tickets are now available through ThaiTicketMajor. Proceeds after expenses will contribute towards the provision of medical equipment, educational scholarships and support for medical projects.
